On June 1 - 2, members of Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania (GWP) and Pennsylvania Health Funders Collaborative (PHFC) had the unique opportunity to connect with funders across the state and learn about innovative efforts underway in Philadelphia to improve local food systems.
In addition to site visits to selected programs, there were opportunities to interact with members of the Greater Philadelphia Food Funders; to hear from the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission about the Greater Philadelphia Food System Plan; and to meet with representatives from The Food Trust as well as other key stakeholders and experts in food systems and policy.
