Kenneth Spruill is Vice President and Manager, Private Foundation Management Services of Hawthorn, PNC Family Wealth®, a business dedicated to serving the needs of individuals and families with investable assets in excess of $20 million. As a part of Hawthorn’s Private Foundation Management Services (PFMS), Kenneth works to integrate clients’ strategic philanthropic considerations and preferences with their wealth, family goals and multi-generational education needs. In addition, Kenneth assists foundations with grant-making programs and distributions on their behalf.
Prior to joining Hawthorn, Kenneth was responsible for the development of leaders in the Asset Management Group at PNC, aligning enterprise and business objectives with talent management priorities to drive results. He also served as PNC’s Manager of Diversity Strategies, focusing on change initiatives that support an inclusive organizational culture for employees from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences. Prior to PNC, Kenneth was an independent diversity consultant, working with a variety of clients throughout the United States. Additionally, he served as the Workforce Diversity Officer for Wachovia Corporation (now a part of Wells Fargo) and as a Relationship Manager in their Regional Corporate Banking group.

Lucille “Luci” E. Dabney has an eclectic and general professional background in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Her areas of specialty include organizational assessment, strategic and business planning, program development and evaluation and resource development strategy. An experienced consultant, facilitator, public speaker and trainer, she has worked with cities, local arts agencies, management support organizations, consulting firms and a range of nonprofit organizations. She is the former Executive Director of the Cultural Arts Council of Houston and Harris County where she supervised an annual grants budget of over 7 million dollars. Luci earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston.

Ms. Randi works closely with McCune’s seven-member Distribution Committee to develop and implement the Foundation’s plan to sunset by 2029. She also shares grantmaking responsibilities across the Foundation’s four program areas with particular concentrations in community and economic development, and higher education. As part of her duties at the Foundation, Ms. Randi sits on multiple boards in the region. Ms. Randi is also involved nationally with a group of peer spend-down foundations.

Ann Dugan is the senior managing director of Advisory and Educational Services leading the FOX team in the delivery of services to substantial family enterprises and family offices striving to achieve long-term sustainability and multi-generational success.
Ms. Dugan was an early innovator in understanding the power of knowledge, research, and entrepreneurship in building the enterprising family capacity and sustainability as she launched one of the first global institutes at the University of Pittsburgh. As founder and leader for nearly 30 years, of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence while also serving as the Assistant Dean for the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business her success in helping other families, universities and regions flourish has been recognized with numerous awards. Ann led her own successful succession in 2014. Post University, Ann focused her work on assisting families to start philanthropic organizations and foundations, served as Executive in Residence for the Family Business Network (FBN) until joining the FOX leadership team in 2016.
Ann holds a B.S. in Economics and M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh. Ann is a fourth-generation member of a business-owning family and is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and led several ventures to success. Ms. Dugan currently serves on several public and private Boards of Directors.

Michelle Figlar is the vice president of Learning at The Heinz Endowments. Before joining the foundation in August 2016, Michelle served as deputy secretary of the Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning. She also has been executive director of the Pittsburgh Association for the Education of Young Children (PAEYC) and has held various professional positions in the field of education.
Throughout her career in government, the nonprofit sector and the classroom, Michelle has been a strong advocate for young children, their families and the caring adults in their lives. She served as co-chair of Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto’s Blue Ribbon Panel on Early Childhood Education, and as a board member for the Birmingham Foundation, the Education Policy and Leadership Center (EPLC), and Jeremiah’s Place, western Pennsylvania’s first crisis nursery. She also was a member of the advisory council for Remake Learning and early education organizations such as the Pennsylvania Early Learning Council and the Early Learning PA Campaign.
Michelle is a native of Pittsburgh’s Hazelwood neighborhood and lives in the city with her husband Greg Quinlan and their children Grady and Tilly.

Jake Goodman is the Executive Director of the Opportunity Fund (www.theopportunityfund.org). He is an educator, performer, and activist with extensive experience in the (non-philanthropic) nonprofit world. He is a founding member of the NY-based activist group, Queer Rising, which demands full equality and dignity for all LGBTQ people. POISE Foundation
Karris M. Jackson is currently Vice President of Programs at POISE Foundation, a community foundation focused exclusively on supporting the African American community. Ms. Jackson’s responsibilities include managing the Foundation’s grant making portfolio, convening community stakeholders and advancing the foundation’s mission through leadership and advocacy. Ms. Jackson is a published author, blogger and lecturer on social justice, leadership and philanthropy. She has a strong desire to push the boundaries of philanthropy to be more inclusive and effective at addressing issues impacting the Black community. Ms. Jackson holds a BA in English from Allegheny College, a MS in Secondary School Administration from Duquesne University and a Certificate in Non-profit Management from Harvard University. She is a founding member of the Sankofa Fund Giving Circle, the African American Funders Group of Southwestern, PA, the 2012-2013 ABFE Connecting Leaders Fellows Class and a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh XXV. She has received numerous awards including the 2014 Emerging Leader in Philanthropy Award from the Association of Black Foundation Executives, Pittsburgh Magazine’s 40 under 40, the New Pittsburgh Courier’s 50 Women of Excellence and the Pittsburgh Pirates Community Champion Award. Karris is married to Calvin L. Jackson, Jr. and is the proud mother of Derrick, Olivia and Deborah.

Roy A. Hunt Foundation
Closing in on four years as Executive Director of the Roy A. Hunt Foundation, Jenny Kelly manages a grantmaking portfolio supporting youth violence prevention and community development organizations based in Pittsburgh and Boston, international development programs primarily in east Africa, and national environment initiatives. In addition to these four program areas, general grants are awarded in communities across the country where the trustees reside. The Roy A. Hunt Foundation began in Pittsburgh in 1951 and currently the Board is made up of three generations totaling 33 trustees, all family members.
From 2000-2015, Jenny served as program officer for the DSF Charitable Foundation, managing health, education, and human service grantmaking efforts. Its grant programs focus on southwestern Pennsylvania, with a particular interest in helping to create or sustain models of excellence that have potential to be replicated elsewhere. She currently serves on the boards of Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania and the Education Advisory Board of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Jenny has previously held board positions on several Pittsburgh organizations including the YWCA Greater Pittsburgh, The Woodlands Foundation, and The Hill House Association.
Jenny holds bachelor’s degrees in sociology and journalism from Miami University and master’s degrees in both public administration and social work from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a native of Pittsburgh.

MIchelle is responsible for the strategic direction, development and management of the Pittsburgh Foundation’s core grant-making programs. She is the first Black woman to oversee grant-making programs at the Foundation and is the second Black woman vice president in the Foundation’s history. Michelle joined the Foundation in 2014 and has served in multiple roles of increasing responsibility, including senior program officer and director of grantmaking. Over her tenure, she has led the creation of innovative initiatives, which include Small and Mighty, the Social Justice Fund and the Grantmaking for Racial Justice Fund, all of which increase access to funding for small, community-based nonprofits and Black and Brown-led organizations.

As Manager of the EQT Foundation, Ellen Rossi works with nonprofit organizations throughout EQT Corporation’s operational footprint to develop strategic partnerships for funding that enable communities to prosper. Under her management, EQT has helped to open children’s eyes to potential STEM careers, amazed families with artistic and cultural programs, refreshed our environmental spaces, and promoted equality in safe, community spaces. Prior to joining EQT in 2009, Ellen was the Vice President of Communication Services at the Allegheny Conference on Community Development overseeing the coordination of large-scale regional events, as well as the production of all public-facing materials produced by the organization.

Kristy Trautmann, M.S., is executive director of FISA Foundation, a charitable grantmaking foundation focused on improving the lives of women, girls, and people with disabilities. In addition to overseeing a diverse portfolio of grants, under Ms. Trautmann’s leadership FISA has undertaken regional initiatives to promote accessible health care, end cycles of domestic and sexual violence, address systematic inequities facing girls of color, and promote employment and social inclusion of people with disabilities. She has a Master’s of Science degree in nonprofit management from Robert Morris University. Prior to FISA, Ms. Trautmann worked at Pittsburgh Action Against Rape and the YWCA Greater Pittsburgh. She is the founder of Southwest PA Says No More, an effort to prevent domestic and sexual violence, was founder and former co-chair of the Girls Coalition of Southwestern Pennsylvania, and has served on numerous other boards and advisory committees.
