On December 1, Grantmakers of Western PA, Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Foundation, and Pennsylvania Immigration and Citizenship Coalition (PICC) hosted a webinar to share information about recent developments in meeting the needs of PA's population of undocumented immigrants.

The Philanthropy Forum at GSPIA, GWP, The Forbes Funds and Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership (GPNP) are collaborating to present a series of programs focused on investing for greater impact. The first session, held in January 2015, explored the topic of impact investing/mission investing. In this second session, held in March 2015, we considered deeper capitalization strategies.
This meeting engaged participants in a conversation on how local, geographically-based philanthropists can prepare, plan, and collaborate around the topic of disasters.
The first of two panel discussions during which we explored the topic of impact investing, how it operates and lessons learned to date. This session presented some of the traditional tools of impact investing, and some of the newer methods being used in the social innovation space.
