As a community of foundations across Pennsylvania, we are stronger together. Statewide connections enable foundations to identify areas of convergence across funders’ priorities, explore opportunities for collaborative grantmaking, leverage expertise and resources for greater impact, spread best practices, build intersections in philanthropy and policy, and create a statewide voice to raise awareness.

On behalf of all four Pennsylvania funders’ networks, we are pleased to invite you to a statewide gathering of Pennsylvania foundations on November 7 and 8 at the Penn Stater Conference and Hotel. The participating networks are Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Health Funders Collaborative, Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia, and Northeastern Pennsylvania Grantmakers.

On November 7^th, the day after Election Day, we will convene foundations from across the State together, to spark a network of shared learning and action on statewide community health related issues. Christopher Borick, a political scientist Director of the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion, will provide a keynote address about the prior day’s election outcomes and the ramifications for communities.

On November 8^th, Pennsylvania community foundations and the Pennsylvania Health Funders Collaborative will meet separately. The Pennsylvania Health Funders Collaborative will hold its annual meeting, and community foundations will gather for a day of professional development including opportunities to swap strategies, network and brainstorm how a stronger state network of community foundations could support everyone. Cost: There is no registration fee for members of Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Health Funders Collaborative, Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia, or Northeastern Pennsylvania Grantmakers. If you are a funder who is not a member of any of these organizations, a $250 registration fee applies.
