Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania is proud to partner on a USDA Regional Food Systems Partnership grant led by the Pittsburgh Food Policy Council. One of the grant's primary objectives is to understand and address barriers to funding local food systems development.

During this initial session, we want to hear from participants about their organization’s funding so that we can map out the landscape of current food systems funding. We will also hear what you want to learn about regarding the local food system.

This is the first of a series of quarterly meetings, where we will be able to deepen our collective understanding of food systems and the funding gaps and needs.

This first meeting will be on Wednesday, April 19th from 9 - 11 AM at the Heinz Endowments. Coffee and snacks will be served, and informal networking will take place from 9 - 9:30. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m.

To get the most out of this meeting, we hope that you will be able to join us in-person, but if you need to connect virtually, please register using the virtual attendance option and connection details will be sent to you.

We are committed to making GWP programs accessible to all members. If you have questions, or if an accommodation would be helpful to fully participate in this program, please reach out to Paula or call 412-471-6488 and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
