On March 15th, 2016, the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers and the National Council of Nonprofits offered a webinar which discussed state budget trends, explored why foundations and nonprofits have shown they care about this fundamental issue, and what solutions our colleagues are developing to prevent budget crises and government shutdowns in the future.

Federal Budget and Tax Outlook Briefing for Grantmakers

Each year, Grantmakers Income Security Taskforce (GIST) and Grantmakers for Children, Youth and Families (GCYF) co-sponsor an Annual Budget and Tax Briefing for their members.  This year, to increase the reach of this discussion to grantmakers who are unable to travel to Washington DC, the keynote address from this annual briefing, featuring Bob Greenstein of the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, was made available to GWP members via live webstream.
