Please join us for a conversation with Lauren Bairnsfather, the director of The Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh. We will explore with Dr. Bairnsfather the evolving role of the Holocaust Center as it continues to combat anti-Semitism and address social injustices in today’s complex world. We will discuss the Center’s unique programming focus areas from suburban high schools to public art, particularly as time passes and we are losing the powerful, direct voices of our remaining Holocaust survivors. The Center is also exploring new community engagement possibilities by moving into the heart of Squirrel Hill, giving it a proximity to other unique community assets serving the Jewish community and beyond.

The Jewish Funders Learning Network an informal network of philanthropists and grantmaking professionals in Pittsburgh who fund Jewish causes. Modeled after other GWP funder learning networks, and run in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, the purpose of this network is to create a space where:
- People who think about grantmaking in the Jewish space can meet each other
- Relationships are formed that carry beyond network activities
- Funders have somewhere to go to safely and productively raise and discuss questions and concerns with their peers
- Funders with common interests and approaches can form coalitions to address common causes.
