Highmark Health will give $1.5 million to The Advanced Leadership Institute (TALI Institute), that will include $1 million in seed funding for the newly formed institute and $100,000 a year for five years to support ongoing operations.
Highmark Health was a founding member of TALI when it began in 2018 with a mission of expanding education and leadership opportunities for African American leaders in the Pittsburgh region. Highmark Health’s SVP of Community Affairs, Evan Frazier, is leaving his role at the insurer to join TALI Institute as its first president and CEO in March.
