The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021, also known as the COVID-19 Stimulus Package, is a $1.9 trillion economic stimulus bill passed in hopes to speed up the US’s recovery from the economic and health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing recession.

Join us as team members from Equitable & Just Greater Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Budget and Policy Center, and the Economic Justice Circle provide GWP members with a big picture overview of the ARPA, which will include a review of how funds are allocated, and a discussion of ways to ensure funds are spent equitably.
