In May 2019, a group of funders in North Central Pennsylvania gathered in St. Marys for a networking dinner, generously convened by the Stackpole-Hall Foundation and the Frank Varischetti Foundation. Attendees shared their knowledge of their communities’ issues and how they were meeting them, and interest was expressed in staying connected in the future.
To follow up, Grantmakers of Western PA cordially invites staff and trustees of North Central PA funding organizations to join a Zoom call to discuss how your communities are faring, how funders are responding, and to identify areas of common interest. This invitation is open to any funding organization that supports nonprofits in Elk, Cameron, Mckean, Potter, Clearfield and Jefferson Counties.
We hope you will join us to share what you are working on and learn what other funding organizations are doing in communities like yours, as you respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, disruptions in students’ learning, job losses and other community needs.
