Systemic challenges, such as climate change, racial justice and gender equity, exist beyond the borders of the United States. Philanthropic families seeking to ramp up their international giving face a variety of challenges and opportunities, including identifying partner organizations and building trusting relationships with them.

Join NCFP to learn how to be an effective international funder and concrete steps to developing trusting relationships with grantee partners from afar. This webinar will be particularly useful for donors new to international giving or those wishing to give overseas beyond donating to disasters or to large international charities.

Speakers:
Sylvia Brown: Founder and President, Sylvia Brown Smart Donors
Jenny Kelly: Executive Director, Roy A. Hunt Foundation
Ashley Barrett: Executive Director, Godley Family Foundation
Kimberly Myers Hewlett: President, Myers Family Foundation; Director, Flora Family Foundation

Note: This is the first of a two-part series; part 2 will look at tools for making international grants legally and tax effectively.
