GWP Workshop: Effective Business Writing

Effective business writing is an essential skill for internal and external communications, career advancement, and organizational success. Designed for those who seek real and immediate improvement in their business writing, this workshop will review the skills and strategies necessary to write clear, compelling, and correct business documents.
  
The training will combine lecture and hands-on exercises, along with discussion and Q&A throughout the workshop. Prior to the session, each participant will be asked to submit two business documents or email messages. Participants will work on excerpts, examples, and exercises pulled from anonymous on-the-job writing samples.
 
Each participant will also receive the Writing Skills Workbook and Nancy Flynn's book, Writing Effective E-Mail

  • Proofreading and Editing Executive Writing
