Join us as Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto provide a briefing especially for GWP members.
Our region is poised to make great strides in equitable community and economic development, infrastructure, and other innovations to progress toward a more just and sustainable future. To accomplish our regional goals, collaboration between our elected officials, their teams and other sectors is more critical now than ever before.
In a conversation moderated by Laurel Randi, Executive Director of the McCune Foundation and Vice President of GWP’s board, the County Executive and Mayor will brief GWP members on their plans for the region, the challenges they face, and the new opportunities they see. As always, we will open the floor to members for Q & A so you can raise your concerns with Fitzgerald and Peduto directly.
This program is open to all GWP members and provides the opportunity to learn about our elected leaders’ priorities and how they plan to move forward in the coming year. It also provides a chance to discuss how the philanthropic community can better collaborate with the city and county to make our region more healthy, prosperous and vibrant for all its residents. A networking reception will follow.
3:30 PM – 5:00 PM Program, Walnut Room
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM Reception, Adams Room
We are committed to making GWP programs accessible to all members. If you have questions about the venue, or if an accommodation would be helpful to fully participate in this program, please reach out to Paula or call 412-471-6488 and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
