This network brings together foundation staff to learn how to effectively address social determinants of health and how they interrelate with one’s health status. Formerly the Opioid Funders Group, we are expanding our scope based on feedback from many of you. Together we will explore ways to address systematic differences in health status, health outcomes, and how funders can be a catalyst for change.
Join us for our kick-off session which will feature a conversation with Stuart Fisk, CRNP and Director of Allegheny Health Network's Center for Inclusion Health. With Stuart, we will discuss how to improve health outcomes in marginalized communities who historically experience health inequities. Many of you know Stuart, a longtime activist providing direct nursing care, research, and commitment to treating those who cannot receive compassionate health care elsewhere.
This will be a virtual session. Connection details will be sent upon registration.
We are committed to making GWP programs accessible to all members. If you have questions, or if an accommodation would be helpful to fully participate in this program, please reach out to Paula or call 412-471-6488 and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
