Join us to pick up the discussion from our spring funder roundtable as we gather again to take a closer look at why and how funders are engaging in participatory grantmaking and shifting power and decision-making to the very communities impacted by funding decisions.

Together, we’ll explore examples and insights from a range of individuals employing participatory grantmaking practices, both locally and beyond. During this session, we will discuss different benefits, challenges, and models of participatory grantmaking.

Panelists:
  • Jenn Sloan, Social Change in Community Fellow, The Pittsburgh Foundation
  • Celeste Smith, Senior Program Officer, Arts and Culture, The Pittsburgh Foundation
  • Tiffany Wilhelm, Program Officer/Operations, The Opportunity Fund
  • Denise Zellous, Executive Director, Zellous Hope Project and Founding Partner, Grow Sto-Rox
Moderator:
  • Mac Howison, Program Officer, Creative Learning, The Heinz Endowments

This session will be virtual. Connection details will be available upon registration.
