Funders are increasingly looking to engage the communities they serve in the grantmaking process by incorporating participatory grantmaking practices.
Join us for a roundtable discussion to look at why and how funders are engaging in participatory grantmaking and shifting decision-making power to the communities impacted by these funding decisions. Together we’ll explore a range of methods and models as well as the benefits and challenges of each.
During this session, we will also discuss the possibility of building an ongoing cohort of regional funders interested in working together on integrating more participatory processes in their work.
