As working styles and workplace cultures evolve, hybrid meetings are emerging as the new normal. What exactly is a hybrid meeting? What are the best practices to design your programs to be inclusive, collaborative, and productive for all attendees, whether virtual or in-person?

During our virtual session, Gloria Rayman of Smart Solution Technologies will guide us through the nuts and bolts of planning and implementing a basic hybrid meeting. 

Some topics we will discuss:

  • Designing a pre-meeting checklist and workflow
  • Registration and logistics
  • Steps to think about when designing a welcoming experience for all attendees 
  • How to facilitate a hybrid session and assign roles for meeting management
  • The basics of equipment and applications
  • Costs to consider

There will also be a short demo to virtually share the equipment in the GWP conference room, to show an example of equipment that can be used to hold a hybrid meeting. Join us on our learning journey around the ever-evolving landscape of meetings.
