  • An estimated 170,000 undocumented immigrants live in Pennsylvania, which has one of the fastest growing undocumented populations in the country.
  • Undocumented immigrants are frequently victims of workplace exploitation and abuse and have limited access to education, health care, and other resources.
  • While some undocumented immigrants are currently eligible for legal status, accurate information and access to quality immigration services is severely limited in rural and suburban areas of Pennsylvania.

Join the Grantmakers of Western PA, Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Foundation, and Pennsylvania Immigration and Citizenship Coalition (PICC) in a free webinar to learn about recent developments to meet this population’s needs.

Participants will learn about:

  • The status of the President Barack Obama’s executive actions on immigration that could provide temporary relief to as many as 55,000 undocumented immigrant Pennsylvanians and result in increased revenue for Pennsylvania’s budget.
  • A new integrated statewide coalition coordinated by PICC to effectively leverage and increase the capacity of local communities to prepare for and respond to these changes.
  • Opportunities to join other funders across the state in a coordinated effort to support this initiative.
