The Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP) recently released a new report intended to help funders understand how nonprofits are assessing their impact and what would help them do it better. Many nonprofit leaders’ comments described the untapped potential of good data – along with the challenge of paying for collecting and analyzing it. The Conference Board blogger Alex Parkinson argues that helping your nonprofit partners collect, analyze and manage data could be a key way that corporate philanthropy can assist them – thanks to the in-house data expertise many companies have.
