Join us for our second session in the Southwestern PA Virtual Learning Circles series: Coordinated Birth to Five Models. Experts from Allegheny County and Philadelphia will share their experiences on supporting effective local models that reach across programs, services, and funding streams to offer a coordinated approach for children and families.
Hear from Dr. Diamonte Walker, Executive Director of Pittsburgh Scholar House – a new two-generational program improving educational outcomes for both single parents and their children. Panelist Tara Dechert, Program Manager, PolicyLab, will share her experience leading an intergenerational pilot connecting services across pediatric care, community nursing, and early childhood education. We will be discussing these collaborative community models and how effective collaboration between the public sector, community organizations, and coordinated service delivery lead to powerful outcomes for families and young children.
