Human trafficking, believed to be the third-largest criminal activity in the world, includes forced labor, domestic servitude, and commercial sex trafficking. It involves both U.S. citizens and foreigners alike and has no demographic restrictions.
Sextortion is a criminal act and a form of sexual exploitation. It involves coercing a minor using or threatening to use, images/videos previously obtained to demand additional images/videos that are sexual in nature.
The FBI works cases related to human trafficking, sextortion and online predators under its Crimes Against Children and Human Trafficking program. Join us for this session with FBI field agents to hear real-world case examples and learn best practices to recognize, prevent and protect against these threats in our community.
