Independent Sector has released its annual estimate of the value of each hour of volunteer time for 2017. In 2017, the value of a volunteer hour increased to $24.69, a 2 percent increase from the prior year. Pennsylvania’s value is slightly lower at $24.35 per hour, and it rose only 1.9 percent over 2016.
