Since its creation in 1999, Riverlife has brought public and private partners together to reclaim, restore and promote Pittsburgh's riverfronts. Riverlife's leadership has resulted in an over $135 million investment in the redevelopment of Pittsburgh’s riverfronts that has helped catalyze $4.2 billion in total riverfront and adjacent development.
Join GWP for a boat- tour of the riverfronts which will highlight Riverlife’s recent work as well as place a strong emphasis on high-interest areas for future development such as the Allegheny Riverfront and Strip District neighborhood, the Ohio River North Shore environmental bank restoration and the 178-acre former steel mill site known as Almono. We’ll learn about projects currently underway and highlight opportunities for potential additional development.
The tour will depart from the Convention Center Riverfront Plaza at noon. Boxed lunches will be provided.
Please register by COB on Friday, June 2nd.
