Presenter Bios:
- Kristin Ridley brings nearly twenty years’ experience with corporate citizenship and community initiatives. She currently manages strategic grant making for Opus Foundation, working to deliver philanthropic impact across Opus communities nationwide. Her primary responsibilities include advancing community involvement initiatives, fostering partnerships with high-quality non-profit organizations and promoting employment engagement opportunities. Prior to joining Arbor, Kristin served as the community relations manager for Graco Inc., where she was responsible for all aspects of the corporate giving program, including foundation grants, employee volunteer initiatives and board relations. In addition, she has worked with several nonprofits, focusing on program management and evaluation, strategic planning, volunteer recruitment, fund-raising and direct service. Kristin holds a master’s degree in human service planning and administration and a bachelor’s degree in social work.
- As 3Mgives Senior Manager, Michael Stroik oversees 3M’s global community affairs strategy – serving as Chair of the 3M Global Advisory Council. Michael strives to harness the immense potential of 3M employees, technologies, and products to identify solutions to the world’s most complex social and environmental challenges. Prior to 3M, Michael led CECP’s research process on corporate social responsibility and authored the premiere benchmarking report for giving officers, Giving in Numbers. He also worked for Target Corporation in supply chain management and community relations. Michael received a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin and holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Washington where he served as a Research Fellow. Michael and his wife, Jenny, are the proud parents of two young boys: Charlie and Parker.
