The Corporation for National and Community Service estimates that some 62.8 million Americans – more than one quarter of adults -- contributed 7.9 billion hours of volunteer service in 2014. In Pennsylvania, the value of that time rose to $23.40/hour in 2015 – a 3.4 percent increase over 2014.
