A Funders’ Update with the Mayor and Allegheny County Executive

Join us as Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto and Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald provide a briefing especially for GWP members.  Our elected leaders and their teams play a critical role in everything from economic development, transportation infrastructure, public safety and affordable housing to public health, human services and regional parks.  In a conversation moderated by Dave Roger, president of the Hillman Family Foundations, the Mayor and County Executive will brief GWP members on their plans for our region, along with the challenges they face and opportunities they see. 

This is a great opportunity for GWP members to learn about the Mayor’s agenda for the city, the County Executive’s agenda for the county, and how they are collaborating and reinforcing one another’s work. It also provides a chance to discuss how the philanthropic community can better collaborate with the city and county to make our region healthy, prosperous and vibrant for all its inhabitants.
