Withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement: Can Business Volunteering and Nonprofit Partnerships Make A Difference?

From a blog post at The Conference Board, Alice Korngold argues that the nation’s withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement is a threat to American leadership, innovation and jobs – but that there is a great deal a company can do in partnership with the charitable sector.  She advocates that all businesses consider how their philanthropy, volunteerism and community engagement can counter the dangers presented by climate change, especially by focusing on the gravest threats; educating employees and communities; and leading from the C-suite.
