Volunteers play a vital role to the nonprofit sector, contributing some $203 billion in time and effort. Each year Independent Sector calculates the value of volunteer time. It released its update for 2018 on April 11, and estimated hourly value is now $25.43 – up 3 percent from the prior year. More details are here.
