Independent Sector (IS) has just released Principles for Good Governance and Ethical Practice: A Guide for Charities and Foundations, an update of guidelines first developed in 2007. The IS principles are designed to strengthen self-regulation of the charitable sector with respect to governance, fundraising, operations and financial reporting. This update takes account of fast-growing trends like crowdfunding and online fundraising.
