Sustainability: A New Path to Corporate and NGO Collaborations

Over more than 60 years, corporate responsibility has evolved and the private sector plays an increasing role in promoting positive social change.  In a new piece in the Stanford Social Innovation Review, the author describes today’s opportunities to increase corporate sustainability in partnership with nonprofits.  As he puts it,“The question is no longer if companies have a responsibility to society, but how best to execute it.”  By doing good, your business can also do well: “Companies that do social responsibility right can expect a 22 percent boost in employee productivity and 25 percent less turnover.”
