The Small and Mighty grants program, a special initiative driven by The Pittsburgh Foundation’s 100 Percent Pittsburgh organizing principle, has awarded grants totaling $341,000 to 24 small, community-based nonprofits. Small and Mighty grant recipients aim to strengthen the opportunities available to the 30 percent of the regional population living in or near poverty.
