Scott Lammie has been recognized as a 2018 Health Care Hero by the Pittsburgh Business Times in the health care innovation - individual category.
Lammie, senior vice president, business development and board treasurer at UPMC Insurance Services, is an active member of more than a dozen regional organizations working to create better environments for individuals through food security, education and the use of technology. He has supported Manchester Bidwell Corp. over the years, which provides educational and career training to adults in transition and at-risk youth.
The Pittsburgh Business Times' 2018 Health Care Heroes were selected in a variety of categories for their outstanding contributions to the medical field. Many of the winners are doctors, but other honorees include nurses, volunteers, organizations and health care executives.
