Richard King Mellon Foundation is partnering with the Steelers and developer Tishman Speyer to build a youth sports complex and community field at Hazelwood Green. The sports venture will be funded through a $10 million grant from the Richard King Mellon foundation — the latest big investment in Hazelwood Green by the local philanthropic organization. The state-of-the-art complex will be used for youth football, boys and girls flag football, football clinics featuring current and former Steelers players and coaches, soccer games and clinics, and other activities.
