The PNC Financial Services Group received national recognition for the excellence of its philanthropic work on February 25, 2008 on National Corporate Philanthropy Day. PNC was honored by the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP), the only international forum of CEOs focused on corporate philanthropy. PNC was awarded CECP’s Large Company Excellence Award in recognition of “Grow Up Great,” a ten-year, $100 million investment in providing underserved children with quality preschool opportunities.
