Wednesday, November 4, 2015

Program to Aid Citizen Enterprise (PACE) is a nonprofit funder and management support organization formed in 1968.  Its mission is to strengthen community-based nonprofit organizations that potentially or demonstrably can assist African-American and economically disadvantaged communities to identify their needs and take effective action.

Six small to midsized African-American-led nonprofit organizations will create and implement a three-year action plan in 2015-16 to achieve their goals, with assistance from PACE’s Strategic Action Plan program.   Another ten small and mid-sized organizations will be supported by PACE’s Intensive Services program to build their organizational capacity to improve the lives of minority and disadvantaged members of the greater Pittsburgh community.
