POISE Foundation in partnership with the YWCA Greater Pittsburgh will award more than $2.1 million over the next three years to nonprofits working toward eliminating racism and empowering women. The organizations plan to distribute $700,000 this year, with the help of a selection committee composed of POISE and YWCA members and at least five other individuals from the community. Mission In Action will prioritize applications from organizations that promote racial and gender equity.
