Here’s What You Need for a Memorable CSR Story

A study by America’s Charities shows that 68% of businesses say their employees expect them to support volunteerism.  Half of those employers are replacing episodic volunteer opportunities with year-round engagement. These are high expectations–but participation rates alone may not equal impact.  Capturing employees’ impact stories, linking performance volunteering to performance reviews, and using volunteering to enhance employees’ skills are examples of higher-impact strategies.
