The Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership Hosts Nonprofit Summit

Monday, October 2, 2017

Representatives from the region’s nonprofit, civic and business sectors will convene Oct. 5 and 6 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center for the Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership’s biennial summit.  GWP is proud to be among the sponsors of Summit 2017.

This year’s summit will be organized along three tracks: health equity, economic equity and education equity. UPMC Health Plan is sponsoring the summit along with The Pittsburgh Foundation, The Heinz Endowments and BNY Mellon. McAuley Ministries is supporting scholarships for nonprofits providing services in the Hill District, Uptown, and West Oakland neighborhoods of Pittsburgh.

Entrepreneurs, business leaders, students and others with a passion for lifting up the region are encouraged to attend.

Registration is open through Oct. 4 at gpnpsummit.org. GPNP understands that funding is tight due to this year’s state budget impasse. Therefore, attendees can opt to delay registration costs until a budget is passed — simply select “pay by check” at checkout. Government employees can register as "public officials" to receive complimentary passes.
