Google.org Impact Challenge Pittsburgh Has Launched

Sunday, November 12, 2017

Applications are now open for the Google.org Impact Challenge Pittsburgh.  The Pittsburgh Challenge will award a total of $250,000 to local nonprofits to support their innovative ideas to create economic opportunity in the region.

Google.org and a panel of local advisors will review the submitted ideas and select four winners who will each receive a $50,000 grant, plus Google training, to implement their proposals.  Then the community will be invited to vote on the winner they think will have the greatest impact, and the project receiving the most public votes will be awarded an additional $50,000.  Interested applicants are encouraged to review the criteria and apply before the deadline (December 31).
