Forgoing its 30 percent fee for apps and in-app purchases, Google is launching a new feature for Android phones through its Play Store app that will allow users donate to a number of US nonprofits, with 100 percent of the donation going to the chosen organization. The program, which is called Giving Season on Play, will be available during the holiday season.
