Giving USA has released its annual estimates of charitable giving for 2014, and according to its new report, giving increased a healthy 5.4 percent and set a new dollar high. The annual Giving USA report estimates that Americans’ charitable gifts rose to $358.4 billion – exceeding experts’ projections on how quickly giving would recover post-recession.
