If your grantees take part in #GivingTuesday (especially if your company provides any incentives on that day), encourage them to think about how they engage women donors. A new study from Women’s Philanthropy Institute at Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy shows some revealing gender differences. Based on 2016 data, giving increases on #GivingTuesday for both men and women, and they give to similar organizations. However, women are more likely to give on #GivingTuesday than men are.
