Gates Report Highlights Need to Address Inequality to Achieve SDGs

While indicators of global health and development have continued to improve since 2000, inequality remains a major barrier to achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Goalkeepers Report 2019 (from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) highlights the vast disparities inequalities that remain between rich and poor countries around the globe, as well as the urgent need for investments in primary health care, digital inclusion, and climate adaptation.
