The Chronicle of Philanthropy recently surveyed the top 150 companies in the Fortune 500 and analyzed data from public documents to rank the most charitable among them; view the list (subscription required). Now Fortune has ranked the top 20 companies by cash contributions. The top 20 includes GWP members Chevron for its involvement with STEM education and PNC’s “Grow Up Great” initiative. Taken together, the 20 companies contributed a total of $3.5 billion to charitable causes in 2015.
