The Richard King Mellon Foundation announced a $207K grant to the EmployHER initiative to provide women access to better employment as well as personal development, and education opportunities. The initiative is a product of the Building Productive Partnerships pilot hosted by Bayer Center and the Program to Aid Citizen Enterprise. Three nonprofit organizations, When She Thrives, Dress for Success and New Century Careers have collaborated to form EmployHER Pittsburgh which is dedicated to help single mothers and their families through education advocacy, personal and professional development.
