Daughters And Leadership: Influencing The CEO

New research based on 379 S&P 500 corporations shows that the CEOs who are the fathers of daughters are inclined to treat employees better and to spend more time and money on corporate social responsibility than those without daughters.  In one striking finding, companies previously led by a CEO with a daughter and that subsequently named a CEO without a daughter saw CSR activities decline.
