Donors who want to create a new permanent fund or add to an existing fund at The Community Foundation of Fayette County (CFFC) can now increase the impact of that donation through a matching gift opportunity. The foundation has set aside $250,000 to match gifts between $7,500 and $22,500 on a 1:3 basis. Individuals, families or non-profit agencies wishing to create or increase an endowment for charitable giving are all eligible to apply for the matching gift program, and the Foundation will match eligible gifts until all $250,000 is spent. Donors need not be residents of Fayette County, and charitable contributions need not be directed to a charity in Fayette County.
