A new report by UBS Wealth Management of 2,210 of its clients (including 1,372 with assets of $1 million or more) reveals that most donors are unconvinced that their charitable giving has high impact. According to the report, 9 in 10 respondents reported that they made charitable contributions, but only 20 percent aid that they considered their giving to be highly effective. Other findings confirm some of the variations in giving between men and women; approaches to giving by millenials and boomers; and the positive impact of charitable planning.
