The Millennial Impact Project has released its 2015 report entitled Cause, Influence & The Next Generation Workforce.  The report explores what motivates millennials to give to and participate in their company’s cause work; how much they are influenced by co-workers; and how managers and businesses can encourage millennials to participate in company-wide causes like giving campaigns or volunteer days.  Recommendations include utilizing peers and co-workers to influence participation; offering short-term volunteer opportunities; leveraging competition and incentives; and showing how participation makes a difference.
