The Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative is leading a coalition of experts in health care, technology, and safety to establish a National Patient Safety Board (NPSB) in the United States. The NPSB Advocacy Coalition has launched a public campaign to increase awareness about patient safety and the need for an NPSB dedicated to studying medical mishaps and recommending data-driven solutions to prevent future errors and ultimately improve patient safety.
